"So this may be a bit long. First, the resort was spotless. I’ve never been in a cleaner one. There were lots of options for food but Bella was our hands down fav! It had many more menu selections than the other restaurants did. The steakhouse really needs to add fries to their menu as a side for their really good steaks and cheeseburgers. The sushi place was awesome too! And loads of options for the buffet - breakfasts were amazing. But what really impressed us here was the staff. I’ve never stayed anywhere where the staff catered to you like they did here. They were incredibly friendly and helpful with an outstanding work ethic! Their customer service skills are truly above reproach! "

"Resort was nice, the upgraded elite club package was a complete waste of money, all it got you was a pool with no pool chairs or shallow parts and a restaurant that had the same menu as their steakhouse pretty much. Resort had a major red ant problem. Definitely not worth the money."

"This was my first time staying at the Iberostar Waves Tucan. The property grounds were very well kept, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the entertainment each evening, and the entertainers and staff were very friendly and present throughout the day. Lots of activities to choose from every day, or you can just relax by the pool or ocean."
