We stayed at RIU Playacar and were very satisfied with our experience. The food was excellent — everything was delicious, with a great variety, and we especially appreciated the good selection of seafood. We were given a nice room in building 7. It’s not brand new, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the room was beautiful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and left with only positive impressions.

The staff & service were phenomenal - all of them! The property overall is very nice. It was difficult to keep a comfortable temperature in our room and the towels were very thin. The pool towels seemed much newer. There are three great pools, but only TWO stalls in the women’s restroom down there. ALWAYS a long line!

6 of us stayed at Riu Playacar and we ALL loved the resort! Rooms were spotless. Pool was clean and perfect temps. The staff in every department was exceptional . This was our 5th time there and will def go back ! They have games everyday on the beach and pool. Food was very good in every restaurant and buffet. Night entertainment was very good too.
