The property layout was pretty great, loved all the pools, loved the beach. Our butler was less than great - not very responsive and then didn't do all the things he said he would, but we used our friend's butler and she was amazing. (We shouldn't have to ask multiple butlers for an extra blanket, but we got it done) The food was not as good as I expected, but this was my first all inclusive trip. The portions everywhere were very small, but maybe that's how all of the all inclusive places do it. A few of the restaurants were slow and the food was mediocre (Italian place). The Blue Moon was fantastic. Certainly the best restaurant there. It makes sense that they come around asking you to rate the entire property right as you finish your meal at the Blue Moon. I think they put everything they can into that meal to get better ratings. We also did an excursion with MJ, JC and Big Sam and had a blast. Seeing the Mayan ruins was great. Overall, this was a great trip, but I expected a little more in a few areas.

Overall had a good trip to ocean riviera paradise. We loved the swim up bars and drinks were good. It was fun trying all the restaurants. The entire resort is beautifully decorated. Guest services, especially Ivan, was extremely helpful with anything we needed. We had an issue with the ventilation and strong unbearable chemical smell in the daisy suite. After talking to guest services our room was upgraded and we didn’t have any other issues. Food was okay, sometimes the portions are small. Good selection at the buffet. We were roped into a 2 hr marketing tour on our first day. When we declined the offer, the manager became pushy trying to convince us to join the program which would be a significant financial commitment for 10 years. The beach had a lot of seaweed but was pretty clear on the last day when it wasn’t windy.

Property was nice room was amazing clean. Pools were great beach access is limited. Need a better option of getting around the hotel, very tireing getting from hotel lobby or a day if being out and have to walk 10-15minutes to get to your room but other than that great entertainment great food except in the buffet area no air or at least cieling fans to hot especially after the walk from my hotel room to the buffet area resturants are air conditioned but better options at the buffet less wait time last night of my trip went to route 66 and hostess suggested i should make a reservation a day before so i wont have to wait but supposedly at check in they tell you there are no reservations you just go in all access but we did wait at the steak house wait list was over an hour night before ... But all in all very good hotel

Beautiful resort, lovely rooms. Our lock on the patio door was broken the day we checked into the room, called for maintenance and they came, took him 45 min and he fixed it. Couch in room had some stains on it. Rain shower head didn't work. Other than those minor things - Everything was great. So many dining options, many pools and so many things to keep kids busy. The kids got to take part in the sushi making experience at the kids club, evening outdoor movie, games and things to do. Karen - employee there was great. Good time, would go back, probably stay at a roof top suite next time.

This is my first time ever writing a review, I always read them and take them with a grain of salt but this time I should have listened. All of the negative reviews were absolutely on point. Hotel is pretty much 2-3 block from the beach, prepare for a lot of walking. Yes there is a shuttle but it is never available or there is not enough room . Food at the buffet is not edible , we all ended up getting food poisoning. Restaurants were anywhere from 2-3 h ordeal yes even for breakfast.So unless you want to spend your entire vacation waiting to eat you will be forced to eat at the buffet. Same food every day , hot dogs and hamburgers . Staff is very rude the only friendly people and great service was at Pete's coffee shop . Beach is not swimmable , rocks and ton of seaweed that smells awful . Bell boy made us miss our shuttle that almost made us miss our flight and cost us an extra 80$ in cab fare . And didn’t even take responsibility just said it is not his job even though he told us to wait on the right side . Bed is so uncomfortable, I could feel every single coil and dirty it looks like something from a dumpster. Cleaning ladies did the best they could with what they had . Jet tub didn’t work . Shower had hairs on the walls and lot of it and it was still there week later whn we checked out . We have been coming to cancun 2-3 times a year for the last 20 years and have stayed at multiple properties this was by far the worst experience we ever had .

Staff was not co-operative and when foods runs out they say were not replinishing even basic things like breads, fruits, etc. The food was ok as most of the food was very plain.

We liked that everything was in one spot. However, the beach was not raked and thus difficult to get down to the ocean. Also, there were not snack options to eat by the pool or down at the beach. When checking in there wasn't an orientation of the property so it was difficult to navigate how to get things initially. Other guests were extremely helpful in giving tips and recommendations for making the stay enjoyable.
