"We loved our stay at the Hotel RIU Palace Rivera Maya. When booking, we decided to upgrade our room to Elite U, because it provided us a view of the ocean from our room. Little did we know that having the "Elite" wristband would offer so many perks!! Not only did we get a room with a view, but we received a bottle of champagne in our room upon arrival, ability to make dinner reservations, scored bottles of wine/champagne when leaving restaurants, had our own Elite restaurant where the staff treated us like family AND a pool specifically for Elite members. The Elite U upgrade was definitely worth the extra cost."

"Excellent experience! The food was excellent. Tried all 3 al la carte and they were great as well. Drinks were good (beer could be colder). Evening Entertainment was decent, the silent dance party was unique and a blast. Spa was good as well. The staff were always happy to answer questions we had. I'd go back again for sure."
