I didn't like that the service was super slow. Most importantly for the buffet there was food that you could not just get yourself, someone had to give it to you, when they did they were very unpleasant and would give you the smallest serving and when you would ask for more, they were more unpleasant.When the shuttle takes you to the Centro, they should give you a piece of paper with a small map or at least the names of the streets where they drop you off, so you have the information to get the shuttle back to the hotel. Nice place, but not my best vacation.

We really loved pretty much everything about the property with the exception of the private restaurants not easily accessible unless you're a member. The staff and grounds were phenomenal, the beverages were fantastic, the buffet was good with different themed nights, and everything is very accessible with a shortvwalk. The beach workers were amazing and some of the hardest working individuals I've ever met. We would definitely go again.

This resort has everything you could ask for and more. The restaurants have excellent food and the Buffet is always serving something new. The pools are beautiful and the aqua Zumba was especially fun. Kudos to Charlie and Jared for their enthusiasm. We also appreciated Juan who served drinks and food right to our beach chairs! The shuttle to and from town is easy and convenient. Nothing bad to say about Royal Haciendas!

This was our second visit to the Royal Haciendas. We truly like everything about staying here. The staff is so kind and they do everything that they can to ensure a quality stay. The facility is laid out in a convenient pattern. The beach is clean and enjoyable. The food is remarkable. We highly recommend the Royal Haciendas and we will be back.

First time here and my family and I found everything to be great. Staff, facilities, rooms, food we're all terrific. Definitely not a party resort, but still plenty of places to get a drink and have fun. Great for families (8 & 6 year old). *Only minor negatives: 1. Getting good times for dinner reservations is tough, but even the 5:00 & 9:00 spots available are well worth it - food and service were excellent. 2. Ocean isn't the best, a lot of debris and tree roots/stumps in water. The beach itself is very nice with great sand, and they are battling the sargassum problem like all resorts. No smell whatsoever due to the workers they have removing it all day. 3. We did have to move rooms mid trip, which we were aware was a possibility before booking. Other than not really being able to fully unpack upon arrival, it was a relatively seamless process that didn't require much on our end or interrupt our day. We would absolutely go back to Royal Haciendas!

Everything from the room to the facility to the staff and activities were awesome. There was a storm before we got there and the beach was eroded but there was constant work on it to get the seaweed cleared, etc the whole time....hopefully it will come back. So really no beach time, but everything else was spot on.

Just got back yesterday night..it was amazing! Kids had a lot of fun (6 and 9) especially at the kids club. They loved participating at all the activities..some were extra $(6$US for t-shirt) (key chain, tye die t-shirt, pillow making, bag, dream catcher, bingo, picture frame). They had a theme night every day. The girls were nice..Johana, Aimee and especially Michelle! Resort was very clean. They were always cleaning everything..was really impressed. There’s 2 restaurants and 1 place with buffet (different every day), no show at night but have different activities for adults (karaoke night, casino night). The room we had was huge with full kitchen, 1 closed room and jacuzzi on balcony. There’s a market where they sell food and souvenirs, a tennis court. We didn’t really stay at the beach because of seaweed. Also the beach was small but we spent a lot of time at the pool with swim up bar. Resort is divided in 2 with 1 big pool on each side, kids pool with slides. One side has a pizza oven place. They also have ceramic paintings to do for extra cost near the pool. We went to Playa 5th avenida with cab for 18$ US to go and 18$ US to come back but they also had free shuttle bus that leaves at certain hours but to come back is 50 pesos if not mistaken to come back. There’s also a photographer taking pictures for 14$ US/picture. I highly recommend, especially for kids!
