We left on Sunday feeling terrible and the previous night we missed Xcaret Night show because we were feeling terrible. After we left we went to the doctor and she confirmed we had an infection "

"Clean property. Attentive and helpful staff. Food has good flavor. Not many activities at night and a very quiet resort if that’s the vibe you’re going for. Pool and pool bar closes down early and then the only options are dinner or going off property since there aren’t much night activities."

"We had a great time during our recent stay. There were a few things that I would change, such as the shower in our room definitely needed an upgrade and the patio door didn’t lock correctly so a raccoon got in our room at 3am. Our room was not cleaned the second day we were there and we had to wait until after 4pm the next day and go find someone to ask them to come clean the room. The food was great at the buffet restaurants and the steakhouse. The coffee shop was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We loved the photographers that were around the resort and got some really awesome pictures. The entertainment staff did a fantastic job. Overall it’s a nice resort, definitely need to add a swim up bar as there is not one but we would stay here again. "

"The hotel is ok, but it is being remodeled and lots of area are closed. Staff is not always friendly and in the buffets, bell boys and drivers (Bernabe) who drive the trains are sometimes rude and will ignore those from Latin America or Mexico. There are exceptions like Russel in the Vaqueria who was exceptional, especially with our children. Th resort has lots of pools which makes it like there are not a lot of people which is good. Consider there is hardly any shade and people reserve them very early. In general it is ok, but definitely the lack of friendly staff is off putting. Not sure if we would come back, maybe when all of it is open. "
