"Loved our stay here, the place is beautiful, lots of different food. The beach has lots of seaweed but the hotel had people cleaning it up. The beach was nice but it is very rocky, definitely recommend water shoes!"

"This is by far one of my favourite resorts. Food was great. Staff are amazing. We had a wonderful room. The only thing that is lacking are umbrellas on the beach. It makes it really hard to find shade on a very hot day. "

"Property and staff were very pleasant food was very good. Room was clean and fresh. Ocean sea weed is a bit of an issue. Travel from airport to resort was not a good experience. Paid extra for private service that was to be there at arrival. Ha a 40 minute wait and had to share ride with three other people with stops at their resort. Ride back to airport on departure was good though."

"This is not the adults-only experience younger travelers might expect. The resort feels more geared toward seniors and has a very quiet, low-energy atmosphere. If you’re looking for a lively, child-free getaway, this may not be the right place for you. The food was also very disappointing. I’m not a picky eater, but the quality was far below what I would expect from a 5-star resort. I’ve stayed at 4-star resorts with much better food. To make matters worse, there was ongoing construction in two buildings — one near the main lobby and amenities, and one close to our room. We were not informed in advance and paid full price. The daily noise from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. made it hard to relax. Overall, I would not recommend staying here and suggest looking at other options."

"Let’s start with the room service. We had to ask for towels at least 4 times during our 1 week stay. Towels were old, raggedy and literally falling apart. They didn’t stock our mini feodge daily and our amenities were never restocked (aside from the shampoo and body wash). Anytime we had a question we had to go to the client service center and they tried to sell us a timeshare EVERY TIME. In order or have dinner at one of the restaurants, other than the buffet, you had to make reservations at most 72 hours in advance, in person at the service center. You couldn’t just call or make them for the entire stay (which in our case was only 1 week). Food and drinks were mostly bad. I got food poisoning the 2nd night there. So did 2 other people in my party. The pharmacy at the resort charged 9 times more than the normal cost for medication. The same meds I bought in the resort for $500 mxps I bought for $60 mxps outside the resort. All pools closed at 8 pm and the towel and activities center closed 6pm. We witnessed a lot of clients complaining, on a daily basis, for the same and other reasons. During our stay, there was a child accident at the children’s pool that did not have a life guard on duty and staff escalated the situation by fighting with one of the child’s family members. Further there was not first aid administered by the resort. Two tourists rendered aid to the child. On a positive note, most of the staff and servers were friendly and polite. "

"Went on a girls’ trip to celebrate my friend’s 40th. Hotel property was beautiful, rooms clean, and e-concierge was helpful with decorating her room and making spa reservations. Spa experience was great! Night shows were good. Reserving airport transportation through the hotel provider worked out great. My flight to Cancun was delayed and that was not an issue. A taxi to Playa de Carmen was about 400-500 pesos, not bad for a group that wants to go into town. Cons: There were mosquitos in the rooms when we arrived and although the room was “treated” after our arrival, there were still some mosquitoes and you could hear them at night when sleeping. Main complaint was the food experience. The four of us were disappointed with the quality/options and the lack of Mexican options (no enchiladas or pozole). I will note that we come from San Diego and have stayed at other Hyatt all inclusive hotels with better quality food. Also, some waiters were enthusiastic and helpful and others seemed almost bothered that we asked questions or for recommendations. Pic of view from room."

"Delightful and relaxing experience. Very clean place everywhere you look. Great food and lots of options that aren’t crowded. Staff is warm and welcoming. The pools, especially the lazy river are large!"

"Property is clean, but very outdated. Housekeeping only cleaned our room once and we were there for 4 days. Staff was very accommodating and nice! Food I would say below average! Comparing to other resorts in the area! But you’re getting what you pay for! "
