"The scheduling for dinner in the restaurant is really bad. They should change it to where you can schedule from an app. Not have to go to service desk at 8 o’clock in the morning. I was there seven days and only got to schedule two dinners."

"We've been here many times and it never disappoints. The only issue we had was with the included transfer from the airport. I booked 3 elite club rooms for 6 of us, filled out the links they sent us for the transportation provider, destination services, but on arrival at Cancun they only had reservations for 4 of us. We showed all our confirmation emails and eventually got on a van over an hour later. This was after double checking with destination services before we left our airport of origin and also calling expedia customer service before we left. expedia has always given me excellent customer service but they were a little frustrated with destination services when they contacted them to sort out the issue. I had to go to the destination services desk at the resort twice to sort out our return to the airport. Riu, hire a better transfer operator."

"We had such a great stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well taken care of. The food was really good—plenty of options and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. One of the highlights for us was the kids’ area—it was amazing! The kids had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable for our family. Overall, we truly loved our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway"

"The only two things I liked in this hotel is the restaurant food and that the hotel was big so there’s a lot of walking places. The ocean is OK this time it was a little dirty, but overall it’s not bad, but I would give it a one star for the food other than the restaurants. The restaurant food was amazing 10 out of 10 the buffets were probably a two out of 10 and the drinks were one out of 10. Also, I will say that the staff at the bars and most staff in the buffets are really rude and unfriendly and this is my second time there and I can say nothing really changed. They are still pretty unfriendly and they don’t seem to like American people. We literally were ignored at the bar every time we would come up. They would serve everybody and act like they don’t see us till my husband said something to them and even then the guy just had a smirk and didn’t come up for a while. This is the only reason I would never go back there. I gave it a second chance, and still never again. The drinks were so bad that I couldn’t even drink the last few days because they were disgusting. Also, the shows were pretty lame more for kids, and they only started around. But there’s nobody at the shows because they’re very lame."

"Either we got lucky or it was truly an amazing trip for our family. The weather was perfect, all the amenities the hotel provided were great. Lots to do w kids. Restaurants were great as well. If anything I would critique the buffets. Could use a bit of flavor and change in menu. They had lots of choices but after the 3rd day eating the same menu got boring. Staff and room was clean and very comfortable for our family of 5, we stayed in the junior suite"

"This hotel is not as bad as some people reviews it, but I do have to say it needs major updates. The AC is bad, 9th floor the lowest it went was 21.5C and they gave me a second room and was same. Plus there was a couple of roaches. They cut the water twice while we were showering without announcing it. Food was fine to us, servers specially in the italian restaurant seems tired and very mean specially the younger ones. I would like to give a big shoutout to Andrea at front desk and to Jose Juan at the Cruceros bar. Yolanda at the breakfast grill. Thank you guys. Entertainment is boring, how is it that we’re in MEXICO and the music is in English? Come on! This is sad! Where did they lose their culture ? i went a few years ago nothing like this time. I love the views and the food mainly but if there’s no major updates no one is going back. "

"I wish all restaurants were open especially on the weekends as you would think that is a big time for business throughout the year. Otherwise my stay was exceptional and appreciate and want to thank everyone I had a pleasure of interacting with. I will also say that I was taken by surprise of the actual shoreline for the beach as it's not described as being so close, a few online tweaks to descriptions to better describe actual suites would be suffice. But again otherwise we had a blast and GREAT time!!!"
