"The experience started off horrible it got better but overall very disappointing. We coordinated and paid $160 for a shuttle through the hotel to be picked up from airport. We were never picked up when we arrived. After 2 hours of waiting they just apologized and we got our own taxi. You would think they would give us a room upgrade or comp something for the being left at airport but no. Just apologized and said it was their fault. The room had a musty dirty smell. The hotel food was mediocre. There was only one bar open in the whole hotel after 5pm. Drinks were watered down. The gym was open 24 hours which was great but a lot of equipment was broken for our entire stay. The entertainment team was the highlight they were very friendly and fun. We extended our vacation in playa del Carmen by 3 days if this hotel treated us better we would have just stayed there. But decided to go across the street to Hyatt Vivid and what a night and day difference. Place was phenomenal. Hyatt is more expensive but absolutely worth every penny."

"This hotel is not on the water, but they have a 10 minute shuttle that takes you to their beach club that has a restaurant, drinks, beach and pool all with lunge chairs. quiet place with plenty of chairs and room without being crowded at both the hotel and beach club. less kids then at other resorts."
