"Our room was close to the beach and the pool making quick trips to the room convenient . The staff was always pleasant and easy to talk to. The entertainment staff was outstanding during the week however on the weekend things to do were hard to find. I found the continuing run of the same video a bit tedious. Although the restaurant foods were quite tasty the buffet seemed to be a repeat each meal of the same things. All in all we enjoyed our stay. We have been going to this same hotel for 20 years so we would notice how things have changed over time."
"I was very pleased that they upgraded me to an ocean front room! Zyanya and Samantha with Expedia at Sandos Playcar Resort were OUT OF THIS WORLD good! Their customer service was the best I ever received and I hope their manager sees this and knows how lucky the resort is to have them both working there. I love how friendly everyone is at this resort. I will be back soon "

Staff was not only helpful but an absolute joy. Food was pretty good too - buffet was at times better than the special restaurants but the smokehouse restaurant here is 10/10.
