"I know opinions vary by people. As for me, I'm a minimalist person. Not fussy about much, not wanting to be pampered. I don't inspect my room upon arrival. I eat whatever is on my plate. I don't want to complain about much unless it has to do with a safety issue. So if this is you, the Allegro is a fabulous resort. I've stayed there about 12 times, switching back and forth with another in the same area. Rooms are clean and comfy. AC works great, there's always hot water, the mini fridge is stocked. The food is fantastic, both buffet and the specialty restaurants. Some people are picking about what they eat.. not my story, I just enjoy it. I go mainly for scuba diving. They have a really good dive operation right on the property. Some of the boats are aged, but the staff is wonderful and will ensure you have a good time. I'm also a scuba instructor (retired), so I may see what others might not. I have no gripes with how things are done. I just enjoy my dives. The amenities are excellent, if you enjoy packing your vacation full of activities. I cannot remark on the nightly entertainment as I generally enjoy a quiet evening with a good movie. The property is older and aged, but that is where the charm is. I'm not looking for a palace for vacation, but a bungalow to relax in and enjoy."

"It’s was a very nice hotel. The entertainment at the hotel wasn’t enough. Barely any entertainment for the guest. Needs more fun and entertainment and especially with the staff working. Everyone is so laid back and quiet."

"Over all a wonderfull stay i had the luxurious grand master suite with jaccuzi tub was mostly clean only thing that wasnt clean was the air filters for the ac units they dont look like they have been changed in years. The food was exelent didnt have any issues with what i ordered how ever i feel like they need to add a resturaunt service for mondays as theres only 1 dinner option. Rooftop was amazing staff were very attentive and remembered my drink after only 1 day and when the clouds roll up in the evening you can get some spectacular photos. And dont forget to order the wings as they are awsome. Only big issues was the contruction noise and dust from accross the street not the resorts fault but still anoying."

"I wish all restaurants were open especially on the weekends as you would think that is a big time for business throughout the year. Otherwise my stay was exceptional and appreciate and want to thank everyone I had a pleasure of interacting with. I will also say that I was taken by surprise of the actual shoreline for the beach as it's not described as being so close, a few online tweaks to descriptions to better describe actual suites would be suffice. But again otherwise we had a blast and GREAT time!!!"

"The rooms in a hall were very clean and the staff were very friendly. The food is OK. The grounds outside the building and around the pool are rough limestone. We have been here several times and continually wonder why they leave it like that. It’s very uneven and difficult to walk on."
