"This hotel is a great stay if you are looking for comfortable accommodation while on vacation & If you want a good price. Since the hotel was so affordable we were able to spend extra in other areas like excursions. Also they were kind enough to upgrade us to the adults only side when they realized it was just 2 adults! It was a great start to our trip. All of the staff was really nice. Some things I really liked were the cleanliness, the hotel rooms, and the pools. And the coffee at Mike’s Cafe!!! The beachfront was not huge but it was as expected based on the photos and reviews. To be honest the worst part about our stay was the buffet food. Thankfully the resort had restaurants & the restaurant dining did have better quality food. Thank you Ocean Riviera for the wonderful stay. Overall positive experience "

"My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Valentin, we had an amazing time. The property is beautiful, food is delicious and there’s lots to do. There’s entertainment at the main pool so you can dance and enjoy or relax in peace and quiet at the smaller pool. The staff is always around offering drinks and the taco trucks are so yummy, we really loved the burgers and the chicken nachos ! You can really tell the hotel consistently provides excellent service, several people we met there were repeat costumers. We also plan to return ! "

"All in all, our experience at the resort was fantastic. The room was extremely spacious, which surprised us given we opted for the junior suite - more than enough room for 2 people. It was also very clean and housekeeping was consistent with providing us fresh towels and bedding. The buffet was great and had something for everyone. All of the food we ate was fresh and flavorful. The made-to-order meats and tacos were a personal favorite of mine! Big fan of the taco truck by the main pool as well. The wait staff in the buffet and restaurants were very accommodating, checking in often to make sure we had beverages and were enjoying our food. We didn’t love the individual restaurants that we tried, but they were all at least good and the service was extremely quick! The entertainment definitely made this trip for us. From pool to evening activities, everyone was super friendly and the diversity in activities from day to day was great. Rhamses in particular was amazing; he went out of his way to strike conversations with us throughout the day, outside of his assigned activities. He was very personable and it was easy to tell that he puts great effort into making sure everyone at the resort had a great time. Jonathan and Luna were also great, providing plenty of laughs and conversation at the pool. My only suggestion to the resort would be to provide more indoor activities during the day - it was typically isolated to the pool & it was oppressively hot during our stay. "
