"Rumbling from subways trains at nearby Victoria station can be disturbing. Beautiful hotel lobby, but the lower priced rooms are nothing but convention center-hotel quality. In fact, there were meetings and conventions going on when we arrived. The room looked out at an old, dirty glass roof and was far from the lobby. "Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing some renovations , one of which are the elevators. There were only two working elevators and there would be a ridiculously long line every time I wanted to go to my room. Then, of course, the elevators would be full when they were gong down . Everyone was frustrated and complaining . Our room was supposed to come with bathrobes and we asked repeatedly but got nothing. Finally someone from housekeeping told us they no longer had them.
