I would like to share my honest review of this property saying. No telephone in their rooms to request services or anything the guest may need. The front desk area is not very neat and clean. Sometimes i was walking in and i saw trash plastic bags right in the center of the lobby. Walking outside plenty of homeless and honestly not the best center area of london. The only convenient thing was just the station Waterloo 10 minutes walking and Lambeth north station 2minutes walking . Couple stores downstairs to get few things. That hotel doesn't reach not even 3 stars Their service are very low. Nobody will help you with your luggage or at least offering the guest a cart to carry your stuff to the room. The cleaning service wast the best. Be aware that you will hear a lot of noises from the next room. Very disturbing specially early morning. The cleaning it's every 2 days. A small fridge No microwave Coffe maker and cups and glass for water n wine. The room wasn't that small is just the bathroom area it was very small. The connection inside the room need some updates Tv doesn't have internet. Bored tv channel nothing to watch. Overall i wont stay there anymore. I paid 30 💷 to checking in at 12 pm instead 3pm I wish i could have a full refund and walk away the minute i went to my room. Unfortunately i was gonna lose all the money i paid for. I stayed 7 night Traveling from Texas united States. Hope this review helps you.

The couch bed and mattress was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Suggest offering either 2 twins and a double or 2 doubles in the family suites.

Clean, nice place. We just got back to Florida today after staying there a week. Must note they turn A/C off like 3 times every day and you must turn it back on. We woke up hot 2 days in a row @ 3am because the a/c automatically goes off @ 2am. It also goes off @ 11am or noon each day as well so if you’re out and come back @ 4 or 5pm you have to wait for a/c to get down from 22c to 19c. You have to request them to not auto stop your a/c which we found out on day 3. Staff was friendly and bartender Ashuk was great!

We recently stayed at Marlin Waterloo for our first trip to London, and it was an excellent experience! The location couldn’t be more convenient: it was within a 5-minute walk to the underground station, making it easy to explore the city. Major London attractions like the Parliament building, Big Ben, and the London Eye were nearby, so sightseeing was a breeze. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved that they used a messaging app to communicate. It made getting quick answers and assistance super convenient. The hotel was very clean and updated, with all the needed amenities. Having a kitchenette in our room was a huge bonus, especially for our family with two school-aged boys. They loved London and the hotel so much they were in tears on our last day! Overall, this is a fantastic hotel at a reasonable price. I would definitely consider staying at Marlin Waterloo again the next time I visit London.

The hotel is conveniently located just steps from the subway/underground station, walking distance from the London eye, Parliament, etc. There is a Pret-a-Manger two doors down, very convenient for a tasty breakfast. The room was clean, quiet, modern, even better than other much more expensive hotels I stayed at in London. I would say a very good value for the price.

We had to book a hotel last minute because we had an issue with the other hotel we were staying in. The service at the Marlin was so wonderful we were in our room within 10 minutes of arrival which was great since it was 8:30 at night. We would definitely book at this hotel again.

Our bathroom was not clean. The floor was very dirty and the underside of the sink had something that looked like blood splashed on it and on the wall. Pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. Otherwise, the hotel had pretty decent amenities in the room - full kitchenette and comfortables beds.

Marlin Waterloo Hotel is very convenient, it’s close to the tube and the central train station. The staff was very helpful, they went out of the way to help us to be comfortable at the hotel. I don’t recommend anybody Hercules Pub behind the hotel, my husband got food poisoning there. I went back to let them know and it was not a big deal for them. A burnet girl that works there had a bad altitude serving us, also I saw her touching her nose then she pick up the plates and utensils to set up the table for some else, that was disgusting!!

I have to say that with only one exception, I really liked this property. The location is great for walking to the sights, restaurants, bars and shopping. The room I stayed in was on the ninth floor with a nice view and total peace and quiet. My only major complaint was that a few hours after I checked out, I experienced some major itching on my legs and back. After inspecting the areas in question, I had what appeared to be 12 to 15 bites and I'd say the problem was caused by bed bugs. The room appeared to be clean, but bed bugs can still be an issue and I hope management investigates this problem.
