Small boutique style hotel in a good area. Easily accessible to the tube/subway, good pubs and restaurants in the area. Definitely quiet, which made for a great find in the area!

The property is pretty old. The rooms need lot of upgradation. The room size is very small. I was given a room on fifth floor which was more like an attic room with very low ceiling. Overall just an average stay definitely not value for money.

Staff are polite and capable although the hotel is not as luxurious as presented. Carpets are worn and dirty and walls need new paint. The location is the best part. Consider elsewhere first.

Rooms are exactly as shown online. Nothing photo shopped. Only negative is room was up 9 stairs then down 4 and we arrived early and no one would take bags to room. Not good.

This hotel, at one time was probably worthy of a four star rating, but now sadly, not so much. It gives the overall impression of being down on its heels and very much in need of a renovation and a thorough cleaning. What we liked: Its location is terrific, near the Tube, lots of good restaurants and a grocery store. Some nice touches were plush robes, good towels and linens as well as L'Occitane bath products. The breakfast room was bright and the food pretty good. Some odd things: There was an ice bucket but nowhere in the hotel to obtain ice. There were no luggage racks. What we didn't like: The hotel is not accessible. We had to lug our bags up four steps with no railings to get to the lobby. Bizarrely, the staff was unable to provide a code to connect to the hotel wifi so we had to resort to using guest wifi that didn't give access to the entertainment package. Then there was THE SMELL. This hotel really doesn't smell good. There was a pervasive and powerful smell of mold and some sort of toxic smelling cleaning product. The carpets in the main hallways were filthy. Luckily our room didn't smell so bad so we just had to brave the smell coming and going.

Great location. easy access to the tubes and groceries and lots of restaurants. Excellent shower. Staff was super helpful and lovely neighborhood. Really nice linens and good TV and comfortable bed.
