The only positive things I can say about this property was that it was clean and central in Piccadilly Circus. The rooms were dark extremely small and I felt like we were in a jail cell. There was no desk, no phone, no television. I have never stayed at a hotel like this before and would never recommend it to anyone. Everything was pretty much self-serve. I know that you want to relax in your hotel room, but we felt crammed bumping into each other and no space at all to even properly unpack get changed or anything. Your hotel room is a place to relax and watch TV. Have a coffee make a phone call and it was impossible to do that. If the price was half of what we paid, it would still have been too much for what we got.

I have stayed at budget hotels in the past but Zedwell takes the cake. They only clean rooms every 4 days and rooms had no windows. I have allergies and became very sick from the amount of dust in the room. I had to request my room to be cleaned multiple times at the front desk but no one would come even with the managers help. Would not recommend staying unless it’s for a one or two night stay.

Overall, excellent value for money. Fantastic location for the Westend at a reasonable price point. V modern and spotlessly clean. Rooms are small, but functional. Bring a hairdryer as not provided (can hire for a fee). V friendly staff, would definitely return.

Q-Park at Leicester was most convenient parking and affordable within 2 blocks walking distance. Cannot beat this very City Centre location of you want to take in multiple areas. Cocoon rooms are very quiet but most like an inboard cruise cabin. Staying here saved the funds for all the nearby fabulous shopping.

The single bed room looks like a prison (cement flooring, not wood as shown) with only one single bed in the middle of the room. Understand only limited services and facilities will be provided when booking the room but I think the hotel at least needs to provide a small bed side table so that visitor doesn’t need to put the phone or stuff on the bed and floor. Also, the cleaning lady locked on my door ( even I have put the no disturb sign) at 9:00 on the check out date even the check out time was supposed to be no later than 10:00.

The location is ideal and central. It was great to have security on site which made you feel safe! I like that the rooms are called ‘Cocoons’ as it’s an accurate description which we enjoyed having a break from the city center. There is an opportunity for improvement with their communications as we found it difficult to get a hold of someone either via phone (no one would answer or call back) or via the WhatsApp number which was listed as a way to contact staff. This was an issue as we were trying to arrange for our bags to be delivered which were delayed with our travels. There seemed to be AI responses via WhatsApp which left us unable to have reassurance that our bags would be accepted. Overall we were happy with our stay and would return again for the price, facilities and location.

The check in process was horrific one room wasnt ready until 3.45 the second we had trouble checking in at midnight after being out at a concert not the experience we had previously but the whole team felt unexperienced and being unable to early check in as requested nor being able to check in until 45 mins after the check in time was awful

Great place in the middle of all the best city centre spots (Leicester Square and the National Museum, Covent Gardens, Picadilly Square) and cannot beat the Tube access within steps of the hotel. In this sometimes very noisy part of town, having rooms without windows might seem odd, but it really keeps the noise out entirely. Think of it like having a below deck cruise cabin. You're going to spend the day/night up and out in the streets, so you don't miss that at night at all (or especially the early mornings). Great staff that can happily accommodate most requests and guide you where you need to go for others, and so convenient to have so many alternative options nearby for every breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Worst "hotel" i haver stayed in. Feels like a maze, like a labyrinth with no air, no natural light and of course no windows.. Dozens of corridors and doors that lead to more corridors and doors. You feel suffocated, trapped. Room is tiny, no air, ni windows, no tv, no chair, no table, no hair drier, absolutely anything. NO ESCAPE STAIRS, if elevators arent working, you cant leave the property, there are NO STAIRS TO WALK YOURSELF DOWN. Claustrophobic, people including me, run into panic attacks due to impossibility of getting to the ground floor. Staff is completely unhelpful, the whole experience felt like if i was being a participant of "the truman show" or "squid game". Avoid staying here, read what i wrote: AVOID STAYING HERE. i left the property after my first night having paid for 3. Ill sue these guys because this "Hotel" is not made for humans...and expedia: Shame on you!! you cant allow these guys to have their property on here. I will request a full refund as this was the worst experience i ever had.

Convenient location but clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. Room was little noisy with pipes but other than that fine and I am a light sleeper. Can feel bit claustrophobic not having a window. Would have been ideal if there was a desk area. Would probably stay a little bit further out to be able to get a hotel with a window. There were some other options that were only about £20 more expensive. But if the Zedwell was £50-60 cheaper and I was trying to find something lower cost then would probably pick it again.
