Absolutely loved our time at Palmaia - the food was incredible (as a usually non-veg/vegan it was a huge treat and has inspired my husband and I to reduce our meat intake because we never missed it), the staff were all really lovely, the room had a great view and the beach was fab. We also went to several of their activities and the spa and really enjoyed them. Perfect spot for our babymoon/honeymoon!

Amazing experience, wonderful helpful and friendly staff make you constantly feel welcome.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The service is amazing.

This hotel is the best hotel I’ve stayed at by a long way. The accommodation is beautifully simple but amazingly comfortable. The staff are super helpful and lovely and the food selection is amazing. If you’re thinking of going to Riviera Maya you should definitely consider this hotel.

Great staff, great rooms - just all round amazing.

Our first visit to Mexico and we thought we would try a trusted hotel chain. We were not disappointed. For those wanting great weather, pampering, a dose of nature and a good beach, the Banyan tree is the answer. The walk to the beach from the main hotel could be a little daunting for some, but we did it a coupe of times a day and really enjoyed the wonderful wildlife in the lagoons. Staff were brilliant if a little over attentive sometime due to low occupancy. Downsides - beach had a little...

What a great find can not fault it staff & service is excellent, location great, facilities perfect, rooms clean and comfy. And the main reason we selected the hotel was the a la carte and cocktails and they did not disappoint the food (especially the lunches) were superb as you’ll see from most of my photos. I even had time to relax and do a little sketch of the pool. It’s a little hotel which we wanted as not a big hotel person but if you want the sister hotel is a 5 minute walk along the...

Huge property and the cheaper Zen section is actually the nicest, at least in term of the public areas. Service was outstanding, utterly faultless and the food was gourmet level and way above what you'd expect of an all-inclusive. Great location just a 5 minute taxi ride from Playa Del Carmen. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay in Playa del Carmen, checkin was fabulous with Luis (all staff were friendly and helpful), room was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean - hotel is quite new and very tastefully decorated. Lovely rooftop pool and well equipped gym on the ground floor. No restaurant service after breakfast but we knew that and there’s a lot of food choice around. Situated just off 5th Avenue, seconds walk to shops and restaurants at the quieter end of town. We would recommend a massage at Veronica’s...

Petit Lafitt was perfect for what we wanted. We had toured Mexico City, Merida, Tulum and finally Playa Del Carmen. We were aware this area would be very different to all those I'd mentioned before so opted for somewhere that would be more homely than the larger resorts. It did not disappoint, food was freshly cooked every night rather than a buffet. You had two options and the menus changed daily for both breakfast and dinner. The beach front bar served a lovely lunch if you decided to have an...

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was super clean and bright, the decor modern and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Will definitely book again - recommend!
