"This was our first time at Ocean Maya, we picked the Privilege package and loved the “perks”. All the staff are so friendly. Have to give a huge thank you to our Butler Alberto and to Jorge at the Privilege hut by the beach, they took such great care of us and made our vacation very enjoyable. Food was great at all of the restaurants, we couldn’t pick a favourite, they were all really good. The buffet had so many choices of food. The pool and beach are well maintained and the grounds were very beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the mini bar was stocked every day and we loved that there were 2 small bags of chips to snack on when we got back from the beach. There were lots of animals to spot on the property from Coatis, birds, iguanas and we even saw a deer by the tennis courts. The resort has so many options for everyone depending on what you want for your vacation. The party pool was always rockin with the entertainment staff. We enjoyed the quiet pool and the beach. The property isn’t huge, we liked that you didn’t have to walk too far to get to anything. We have stayed at many resorts in Cancun and Cabo. This is a great resort and we have plans to go back soon. "

"We were happy with the choice of the property. It's a little off the path from the usual PDC locations but that meant we were quieter and more chill. The off season booking made sense as the place was not crowded. Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times and the variety of options was impressive. Only concern was that the high end restaurants we got to were less than impressive - as foodies we found the preparation lacking in imagination and accuracy for the cuisine advertised - however, service was impeccable and portions were good."

"The property is lush, tropical, with both sun and shad options. There are many trails to walk along, the gulf shores are rugged and beautiful. The inlet / beach for swimming is perfect, safe and there are lots of cute fish to admire. "
