The Cosmopolitan Of Las Vegas

3708 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas - Map
The Cosmopolitan is a beautifully decorated hotel/casino centrally located on the strip. It has great restaurants, the best buffet and is close to great shopping at The Bellagio,Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood. The elevators are super fast. You might not think this is important, but if you've ever had to wait forever and a day for an elevator, you'll appreciate this. My only complaint is that the windows do not block out more sound making it quite difficult to sleep at night, especially if you are overlooking the strip.

"Fancy hotel with a monorail station!"
One of the best resorts I've stayed at! The rooms are very clean and modern. The first floor is a huge casino with restaurants and shops. Everything you need is there! You don't have to leave the resort if you don't want to! What I really like was they have a monorail station attached to the resort, so you can board within walking distance and go where you want on the strip in Vegas!

"Stopover stay"
The hotel is just south of the Tropicana and hotel so easy to get to the strip. It is smaller with a smaller casino etc but perfectly good for a few days stay. Very similar to staying at budget-friendly chain hotels. We did not use any amenties but the parking was good and easy and free. Wifi worked fine for us!

"Bithday trip tp Las Vegas"
This is the second year that we booked a stay at the Tuscany Suites. I like the location because the room is very clean and the grounds are very well preserved. Overall the service is good and the environment is low key.. Last year the room was 20 dollars less however.

"very nice hotel"
Beautiful decor, comfortable bed, nice double shower head, very nice bathroom amenities, clean. Offer great restaurants and wish we could join the pool( off season). I gave 4 stars because of the location. Little far to walk around shopping and sight seeing in Vegas from where it is busy. Lots of construction are going on. Good thing hotel have a very convenience access to monorail to travel around town and shuttle. Great for couples. Overall, it is a good hotel in Vegas.

"Very good spot in Las Vegas"
The hotel is pretty close to the strip, but somehow out of the cassino enviroment, which fits very well to those that travells with kids. The penthouse is cozy, fancy and has an amazing view. The kitchen is very good. The connection to MGM grand is indoor and easy to reach, so you can enjoy the cassino and its facilities it if you need. Very good deal!

"Clean hotel and close to shopping!"
Very nice hotel and really clean feeling when you arrive. It's a nice change from the other casinos on the strip that it doesn't have gambling and no smoking inside the lobby. Our room was luxurious and felt very large for a one bedroom suite. The only disappointment was the shower in our bathroom. The drain was plugged and did not get fixed during our stay, also the shower head was very weak and the water flow didn't give enough pressure for a good shower. Otherwise a great hotel and excellent choice for a quite stay on the strip.

"Very nice hotel close to the Fashion Show mall. "
The Trump Hotel is located near the Freeway for a fast get away, and across the street from the Fashion show mall. It does not have a casino, but it is 3 minutes away from the Wynn hotel and casino. The rooms were roomy , clean and with spectacular views of the city. We will come back.

    Pocket Guide: Las Vegas

    Entertainment capital of the world

From space, Las Vegas is the brightest city on the face of the Earth, and it's easy to see why. The lights and spectacle of the main strip are recognizable across the globe and have become synonymous with spectacular entertainment and glamorous nightlife. Whether you're taking in the sight of the fountains at the Bellagio or marvelling at the gravity-defying feats on display in Cirque du Soleil's KA show at the MGM grand, Las Vegas promises a great time for all.

Hailed as the quintessential Las Vegas show, Folies Bergere at the Tropicana captures the essence of sexy, classic Las Vegas with its scantily-clad showgirls and spectacular dance routines. Also unmissable is Cirque du Soleil's Mystère, an extraordinary show which explores the origins of life through an unforgettable mixture of dance, acrobatics, music, opera, and comedy, and plays to sell-out audiences at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.

    Win big in Sin City

No trip to Las Vegas would be complete without a visit to one of the many iconic casinos which have served as the backdrop to many a Hollywood film, including 'Ocean's Eleven' and 'Diamonds are Forever.' Visitors can play a game of roulette under the magnificent frescos of the Venetian, and then enjoy a drink at Coyote Ugly in New York-New York. However, the casinos aren't just about the gambling. The striking architecture and unique design of the buildings mean that you can enjoy a day of sightseeing without setting foot inside.

Gambling is the key to the Sin City's economy and attracts people from all over the world, all of whom are seeking their fortune. The central strip never sleeps, with most of the casinos open 24 hours a day, and most venues offer live entertainment and free drinks to those brave enough to play throughout the night. Different casinos offer different stakes, so it's advisable to start small before heading to the high-stakes tables of the Bellagio and the Riviera.

    Feats of man and nature

For a fresh-air break from the gambling, true thrill-seekers should be sure to check out the Stratosphere, which includes the tallest thrill ride in the world. The ride ascends past the peak of a skyscraper over 329 meters high, offering magnificent views of the city, before plummeting down to the roof of the casino. It's definitely not one for the faint-hearted.

For those seeking an escape from the non-stop chaos of the casinos and shows at the main strip, the Hoover Dam is located 30 miles south-east of Las Vegas. It towers a staggering 700 feet above the Colorado River and represents one of the finest achievements in modern engineering.

Across the border in Arizona lies the Grand Canyon, which is an impressive 277 miles long and almost a mile deep. This national park is a feat of nature and holds a variety of museums and information centers, as well as caves, forests, and grasslands.
