Like most other major cities in the US, Las Vegas has a good network of buses connecting its main areas.
You’ll probably spend most of your time on the Strip exploring the iconic hotels and casinos that line the road. Travel between casinos is made easier by a choice of trams, shuttles and monorails, some of which are free to use. A free tram runs between the Excalibur, the Luxor and Mandalay Bay hotels and also between the Monte Carlo, Crystal and Bellagio. A fast and efficient monorail runs the entire four-mile length of the Strip in just 15 minutes, while taxis, express buses and bike share schemes are also available.
Las Vegas’ main attractions are its bright and shiny casinos. The city’s casinos are home to its most famous hotels as well as a number of world famous theatres, entertainment centres and event spaces. The best known casinos in Las Vegas are probably the Bellagio, the MGM Grand, the Luxor and the Venetian. All of these casinos are accessible using the city’s monorail or, if you’re feeling energetic, you can take a stroll down the strip and explore them on foot.
