The bed in an inclined position couldn’t control nor adjust
I loved the Freehand! Just walking into the hotel was an experience. It was very hip yet nostalgic, and definitely very artsy. The person greeting at the door was extremely friendly and very attentive to us in helping with out luggage to taking the time to welcoming us. The host at the front desk ...
Superb staff. Great hospitality. Spectacular views. Rooms with very cool design.
The lobby area was beautiful, spacious, and cozy; however it was completely full of people all the time who were NOT guests of the hotel. My son tells me this is nromal in NYC but it was new to me. Especially since our room was 102 square feet....
I liked the general atmosphere of the property. The room sizes were inconsistent, and we had some trouble with how thin the walls were (sound carried from one room to another easily). Great stay! Lovely area and beautiful aesthetic. One gripe; at least the room I stayed in (125) did not have Air Conditioning, so worth considering if the weather is going to be hot.
beautiful room, very well appointed, very friendly and helpful staff, good food in restaurants. biggest negative was internet was out for several hours each day which made transacting business extremely difficult while at the hotel.
This met all of my basic needs. The only issue was the fire alarm that went off in the middle of the night as well as the repeated testing during the day. Despite this issue, this hotel will be a regular option for me when staying in NYC.
Very comfortable beds. Quiet in the rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but view is beautiful. It was a great week staying there.
