"I stayed 3 days by myself. I certainly wouldn't stay here ith myself but it was an okay value for a quick solo trip. My door code didn't work two of the three days, requiring me to go back to the lobby to get a new code both times. The staff were okay; certainly didn't apologize for the code not working but they did resolve it. AC didn't work my final night, when it was 90+ degrees outside. If it's <$150 a night I'd stay here again. If it's more than that it's a no go."

"I enjoyed my 4-night stay at The Allen. The hotel is quiet, the staff were helpful and the bed was comfortable. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, with Orchard Street being right behind the hotel."

"The fan was terribly noisy all night long, and I couldn't sleep. This was despite the fact that we had turned off the air conditioning completely—yet the noise didn't subside at all. In the morning, there was another disappointment: they offer breakfast, but it just a bar consists of nothing more than coffee and a sandwich or a croissant—and that's it! You are definitely better off finding a proper breakfast nearby."

"Great location! There was street noise but I brought a noise machine so that helped. There isn’t front desk staff on site so keep that in mind. It’s contactless check-in. There will be housekeeping there daily. I would stay again."
