Wonderful stay here for 4 nights with husband and daughter. We had a ‘two doubles’ room, which had lovely comfortable beds and little kitchenette with full size fridge. We enjoyed a lovely complimentary breakfast each morning with fruit, pastries, bagels, yogurt and granola. On an evening we went up to the rooftop terrace with a bottle of wine and enjoyed the amazing views and sounds of the city - and the location is excellent, couple blocks from Time square but didn’t feel noisy or busy. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about Kixby. The location is as safe as it gets,easy walking distance from Penn Station if you come in by LIRR/Airtrain from JFK(30 mins hassle free way to get into Manhattan) and the subway is 50 yards from the front door. We arrived a little after 3pm, and had a lovely greeting from staff, but our room wasn’t ready so we had to wait. We booked and paid through Expedia… an Empire via room with living space. Please note that the hotel does not offer this type of room. None of their Empire View rooms have the separate living room area.
