"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Edison. The hotel was clean and in good condition. We appreciated the Grab and Go breakfast. My granddaughter liked that the cleaning staff took good care of her stuffed animals and arranged them nicely on the bed. Our only complaint was a clicking sound in the wall behind our bed. We think it might have been water turning on and off in an adjoining room. It was a little disturbing at night. For the most part, we had a great stay. "

"The staff is amazing! Gabe and Willy were friendly and greeted us with a smile every day and night. It was nice knowing they were there if we needed anything. You are close to amazing restaurants and easy access to multiple subways. This is a pre-war building so don’t expect four star but I appreciated the large apartment, kitchen, living room space, bedroom, strong water pressure and huge windows. My old NYC apartment was much smaller than the suite we stayed in. Great stay overall!! "

"Stayed here 3 nights in a shared bathroom room and I gotta say that everything was great and as advertised. Few things - The heater was behind my bed and at night my pillows were extremely hot since the heat penetrated the bedrest which was a bit uncomfortable but not a deal breaker. The absence of an elevator is rough specially with heavy luggage and a very narrow staircase, but once again we knew that so it was fine. Employees were friendly and they had a few snacks on the desk. It’s amazingly situated as theres quite a lot of train stops near and decent restaurants and coffee shops ( Try the Mido’s Gyros they are amazing near Ulta ). We really enjoyed our stay will MOST DEFINITELY stay here the next time we got back to NY. PD The shared bathroom is a NON-ISSUE as most of the time people are out and its like right outside your room door under another hub that gives your privacy. "

"This was my first experience in a hostel style hotel, and I was very happy with my stay and would do it again! I always felt safe and secure, and having the locker option to drop off my bags before and after checking in and out was fantastic. My only feedback is that it was extremely warm overnight for sleeping. The portable sound machines for each pod was a great touch. A little piece of advice - Make sure to bring a full water bottle for overnight because there isn’t anywhere to fill it on your floor. Will be back!"

"Great location. Bus and Subways stations nearby can go to Central Park or Manhattan in very little time. Close (walking range) to SOHO."
