We will never stay anywhere else when we come to New York. The Hotel Chelsea spoils us in every way with beautiful rooms, friendly staff and incredible area. Every time we stay, the hotel blows us away with hospitality you can't get anywhere else. I can't wait to go back!!

We booked one night after a big concert. The guy who booked us in was horribly rude, I was shocked. They also charge some bogus $50 nonrefundable fee going that they say they will use if you purchase any snacks or drinks. We went back downstairs in an hour to purchase some chips and soda, and we were charged on top of the $50, I had to point this out to him. There’s all kinds of bogus fees that jack up the price that they don’t tell you until you’re checking in. To top it all off, the toilet straight up didn’t work, it didn’t flush. Had to call security in the middle of the night, and he didn’t even fix it. It stayed broken, but I didn’t care at that point I wanted to get the hell out of there. Really gross. Stay away.

Beautiful historic hotel in a very safe neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Our suite was beautiful decorated and charming. They have an amazing bar/ lounge with some creative cocktails and charming decor. We celebrated a birthday there and loved it!
