"Hotel Henri is a bare bones property. There is no lobby other than a couple of chairs in a corner. There’s no apparent security - just a person at a little counter with a laptop. Only one person we met after our 6 night stay was friendly and helpful. The rooms are less than basic with nowhere to unpack other than a few hangers and nowhere for folded clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases opened on the one chair and one luggage rack. The photos on Expedia for this property are deceiving as well as the claim that it’s a five star hotel. We contacted Expedia about this deception immediately and were told there was nothing they could do to help us and that we had to speak with the property manager who wasn’t there. Also the sign for this hotel front is down and only noted with a crooked poster above the door. This is a sketchy hotel and we were beyond disappointed to have been duped after our many years of traveling and many great hotel choices. "

"The Standard is like a luxe party time capsule. The views, the extra comfortable bed, and room service and staff are the highest level. There is a quirkiness to the decor, but you have to take it all in and enjoy that you aren’t in a cookie-cutter hotel like all the others. You are at The Standard."
