"Not your typical all inclusive resort, so be careful when booking. Highlight was the room for the price. Massive 1 bedroom villa, almost like a condo with a kitchen, oceanfront. It was great. Downsides, this place is basically a time share. You are hassled everywhere you go about attending a presentation or buying into the property. We were asked at check-in, they called our room multiple times, and they would stop and ask us when we walked around. Food was meh. Buffet was not the best. The food was almost the same everyday, and quality was poor. Full service restaurants were okay, and limited. A lot of items on the menu were extra. Haven't experienced this at an all inclusive before. Not a lot for kids to do, they had a water park and a kids zone drop off. The "resort" has no nightlife. So be cautious. Once the restaurants and the pool bars close, that's it. No bars, no late night food to grab. No where to hang out but your room. Overall, the room was the best part of the stay due to having 2 young kids. I would not stay here again or recommend it. Between being hassled about time shares everyday, and zero activities and night life, it's not worth it. It's pretty much a hotel trying to be an an inclusive."

"Staff is amazing! So helpful and always smiling. Jose went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with everything! The breakfast buffet was great and the Italian restaurant (reservation required) was a favourite! Ocean views are breath taking. Beautiful resort. Good lattes too ☺️"

"Under construction the entire stay. That means HEAVY DRILLING AND HAMMERING from 8am to beyond 6pm EVERY DAY. Awful guest experience, all staff/mgmt claimed ignorance for every point raised (just plain dishonesty and deflection so not to have to remedy). Communication was abysmal, like telling us at check-in that the hotel wasn’t under construction, that these were “hotel improvements”. On our last night, had no water (again not communicated and when called it was like yeah no big deal it should be fixed soon), so they moved us to a different room, which was just ok (had cold to luke warm water). Extremely evident zero cares were given. RECEIVED A TON OF LIP SERVICE yet no real compensation. They did give us a late checkout, hoorah. Thousands down the drain. Hotel is old and outdated, hence the rush to renovate their “luxury” hotel. Met repeat guests who said they used to be great years back and can’t believe what it’s become. —Absolutely awful. "
