"We bought the “All Inclusive” which turned out not to be unless you upgraded to the highest level, which was a significant increase in cost. Our All-Inclusive gave you access to about a third of the bars and restaurants, which we should have been made aware of upfront. The staff was great, very helpful, and friendly. The Emergency 24-hour medical folks never answered their door when we rang the bell and knocked. Had a significant laceration and couldn’t get it taken care of. The food was so-so and one of us got food poisoning from an outdoor grill location. One of two very small elevators didn’t work in our building and we were on the 6th floor, to say we got our steps in is an understatement. We won’t be back. "

"We had an ocean view room which was nice but I didn’t love being up on the 12th floor. Our room was clean and stocked well. The entire hotel was clean but the decor is outdated. We were informed on our arrival the hotel was closing in April for updates with makes sense. The food was hit or miss. I can see why there are mixed reviews on that. The early morning selections in the sports bar were awful, everything was stale and gross like it had been sitting out literally all night. Once the main buffet opened it was great, a lot of delicious food to choose from. Some of the food left much to be desired, you just have to find the good stuff. I think that's to be expected at most all inclusive destinations though, not everything will be piping hot and fresh when you have a hundred dishes to choose from. Curb your expectations, you're going to an all inclusive, not a five star restaurant. Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful, the outdoor waitstaff and buffet waitstaff were especially great. We had a fun photo shoot with Sophia (I believe was her name), who was great! But when we went to look at our photos in the gift shop we were just shown a QR code, which took us through a long and confusing process to set up an account to try to view our photos. I don’t know why they made this such a process but it was so annoying we just left without seeing the photos which was disappointing. Overall a great stay, just a few minor changes would have made it better. "

"I love staying at The Westin because of their White Tea bath products in the room. I booked this hotel specifically for that reason, as well as the beach out front which is right next to Club Med. "

"We had a very pleasant and joyful vacation at GR Solaris. The ocean view was great, and the beach access was excellent. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The only issue was some noise in the hallways, since there’s no carpet in the corridors or rooms, even normal conversations could carry. Other than that, we had a very positive experience overall."
