Lovely boutique-style built run hotel. Everything is exactly as described and pictured. We only stayed a night to break a long journey prior to flying out of SJO the following afternoon, but there's plenty to do in the area and it would make a great base if staying a little longer. Very comfortable beds, it was one of our best nights sleep of our trip! We had dinner in Alajuela, about 10 mins drive away with loads of choice, and went back to the town to kill a couple of hours the next day...

We stayed at Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs in a Chato Suite and overall had a wonderful experience. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery with views of Arenal volcano (when the clouds clear). The resort feels peaceful and spacious, which adds to its relaxed atmosphere, and it’s only a 5-minute Uber ride into town, which was inexpensive, safe, and reliable. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Los Lagos Spa & Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery and a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The highlight for us was definitely the hot springs. They were amazing! There’s something so special about relaxing in the naturally warm thermal waters, surrounded by such beautiful surroundings. Helpful friendly staff, good food, clean and well equipped rooms and superb gardens with a host of birds. Can't fault it.

Generally a very pleasant stay. The room is clean and quiet. The bed is also comfortable. Great shower with excellent water pressure. The gym is pretty decent for a hotel. The pool is not big but good enough for a relaxed swim. There is a shopping mall next to the hotel where you can find restaurants and a convenience store.

Very clean, located close to airport and city mall is walking distance with food options. Cozy rooms, adequate parking if you rented a car. Helpful staff.

The hotel is conveniently located on the main road past Tecate. It is a large place with an great underground bar and external restaurant.
