Next to the bright blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and the sheltered Sea of Cortez, Los Cabos is a beautiful beach-side getaway. Located on the southernmost top of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos is divided into the two districts of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The two cities are separated by a 32-kilometre highway known as “The Corridor”, which is lined by world-class championship golf courses and luxury holiday resorts. Cabo San Lucas is packed with great shopping and nightlife, while San Jose del Cabo offers visitors a glimpse of a more traditional Mexico.

Charming San Jose del Cabo offers you a glimpse of a bygone era, with cobbled streets, art galleries and cultural museums. Pay a visit to the beautiful Old Jesuit Mission, a historic Spanish-style church.

Go swimming or snorkelling in the bright blue Sea of Cortez. Described by world-famous diver, Jacques Cousteau as “the aquarium of the world”, the Sea of Cortez is home to a beautiful and diverse marine ecosystem. Los Cabos is a great base from which to explore the marine life, with tropical fish and living reefs in the Cabo Pulmo National Park, great diving in Cabo San Lucas and even deep-sea fishing trips where you can try your hand at catching a majestic marlin. Children will love taking a cruise on a glass-bottomed boat out to El Arco, a natural rock formation that offers plenty of great photo opportunities and exploring the nearby Playa del Amor (Lover’s Beach).

The climate is warm and sunny in Los Cabos year-round, and it is a popular winter destination. You can reach Los Cabos by flying into San Jode del Cabo, or alternatively driving in from nearby San Diego.
