"Very disappointing. I researched long and hard for a vacation spot to go to for my first international trip for my 50th birthday. I chose this resort. First day I got there. Our AC wasn’t working. I went to customer service and they said someone would be there to fix it. The handyman came to my room, got the air running for a few hours and it stopped again. I was there for 7 days. PAID FOR AN UPGRADED ROOM!! And this kept happening all week. After a few days of complaining they just blew me off. I hardly slept the whole time I was there because it was too hot. They told me there were no other rooms. Also our key card stopped working multiple times. I had to go to the front desk multiple times to have it reactivated. Between people in my room working on the air, and running back and forth for the key card, this totally ruined what was supposed to be a very special vacation for me. I don’t get a do over for my 50th. Because of that I would not recommend this resort to anyone!! They don’t care about guests. They just treat you like cattle. Push the customers through one group at a time."

"Very disappointing experience overall. From arrival, we were treated noticeably differently than others in our group—staff often ignored us and spoke only to our friends, even when we were standing right there. That pattern continued throughout the trip. Check-in was disorganized (our friends got rooms long before us), and our first room smelled strongly of cigarettes. We were moved and upgraded, which we appreciated, but the new room was still not clean—worn furniture, bugs, and we didn’t feel comfortable even walking barefoot. We also had a cockroach in the room. Food was a major letdown. Limited vegetarian options, food often sitting out, and many dishes were cold. The “Italian” restaurant was inedible, hibachi was oily and flavorless, sushi looked like it had been sitting out, and service at the steakhouse was extremely slow. Service overall felt disengaged—minimal effort unless tips were involved. The butler system felt more intrusive than helpful, requiring constant communication through WhatsApp. Other issues: -Lost photocopy of our daughter’s passport (very concerning) -Power outages multiple times -Bugs at buffets -Beach is not private and vendors constantly approach you -No convenient access to towels or bathrooms at the beach Positives: the pool and ocean are beautiful, and a few staff members were kind. Unfortunately, we would not return or recommend."

"Very good service, food was excellent. Specially the steakhouse was our favorite. We got an upgrade to the front rooms. Nobody mentioned that we needed to pay an extra subscription por privilege it was $70 per day per person (minimum 3 days). Only privilege subscription can eat breakfast and dinner in the buffet next to the beach. Also next to the pool only privilege subscribers can use the white sun chairs, the rest of the people had to use the brown ones. Same thing in the sea benches, the nice ones where only for privilege subscribers. Which makes the rest of the visitors feel excluded."
