Pros: - Hotel is new and beautiful. I think the hotel is only a few years old. Lobby and rooms and pretty much the entire property is wonderful. - Very attentive staff. Immediately greeted at all the restaurants. Cons: - Did not realize that some the activities on the all-inclusive resort were paid - this includes bowling and arcade games - AC unit in our room was kind of odd. Room would be cold but room remained very humid. Moisture would kind of cause condensation on walls, sheets and etc in the room. Wall control malfunctioned from time to time. - Food and drinks were average. Some of the restaurants especially Inari and El Asador were not very good and would not recommend. Drinks were pretty much the same at every bar despite the resort having various themed restaurants/bars. - Nightlife: just okay. There were a few places where they played music at night. One night we tried to go out to their club but was apparently just not open that night.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was great! Everything was super clean, good food options at the buffet and all of the restaurants. Rooms can be a little humid since it is so warm, we brought damp rid and were fine. Would definitely return again!

The food is decent. The attitude needs a lot of work. Half the place seemed bothered to be there. Again I said half. There was some genuinely nicer people but you had to find them. The phones in the rooms were turned off, only incoming calls ( 24 hour room service is none existant) Not one drawer opened without falling apart. We couldn’t sleep without opening the doors as the smell of humidity is not tolerable. The place was super clean and it has a good variety you or amenities. There lounge wasn’t open all week. The night entertainment is none existant. The casino is 4-5 tables collectively It’s sad that a place this with a great front, beautiful beach. Great walks and awesome set up is not managed properly. So much potential

I would very highly recommend lopesan resort for an awesome way to spend a vacation…I should have brushed up on some Spanish as I guess that’s the native language there and some of the staff was a little hard to communicate with but with that being said I will say they were all very helpful and friendly. I don’t know that I’ve ever been to a place like that before where all the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home and make sure you are comfortable. 24 hour room service was an awesome experience and every time we would thank them for bringing us food,drinks,etc they would always say “my pleasure”….my wife and I were there for 9 nights for our honeymoon and we want to go back sometime again. Thank you all so so much!!!

I would like to see it from the bottom, my heart thank you to all the staff members that I came in contact with that were helpful friendly courteous made me feel like I knew them for years. Thank you so much for making this experience for me coming back to Dominican republic after 21 years.
