The hotel grounds were very nice. All the plants around the property made it very zen and attractive. The staff, especially the bar tenders by the pool were exceptional (Soranyi was a sweetheart). Some of the restaurants had descent. My husband and I found a nice quiet pool without having to pay extra.
Now for the not-so-good: first off, I got food poisoned two days before our departure and was sick for over 5days!! I later found out that other family members did as well. One of them got moldy bread at the buffet (she has pictures to prove it!). SO BE AWARE!
There aren’t enough towel stations for the amount of pools. There are about 2 or 3 between the pools and the beach. The property is too big and has several pools for only 2-3 towel stations.
The property is too big and the directions aren’t clear. It took me and my husband several days to go to and from our room without stopping on a different floor.
The bathroom situation in the rooms is awkward. They have clear doors so no privacy whatsoever, but that seems to be the norm in many resorts.
Some of the staff needs training. My sister had to stand up for one of the waitresses who was being insulted by a co-worker.
Overall, I would not return or recommend this hotel, especially for the price
