Definitely not a great place for luxury. There was no AC in any area including any and all of the dining areas, they did not have beach towels for 3 days of our stay, and housekeeping often forgot to replace our towels each day but took the dirty ones leaving us with nothing. There is no concept of service, no bar or drinks at buffets and only about 3 restaurants.

Our overall stay was great. The food was disappointing, lacking flavor and spice. We enjoyed the steakhouse and dinner on the beach but don’t recommend the Italian or Teppanyaki. Like anyplace the staff had some who weren’t too excited to be there and others who went above and beyond. Our server Juan, pool bartender Raidon, and spa attendant Larissa were awesome!

The food did not taste good at all, the only time the food was enjoyable is when we went off resort. Staff was unfriendly and judgmental. Also throughout our trip plumbing issues from not having hot water to having no water at all. Terrible resort, Punta Cana is beautiful though!

Cuando llegamos la habitacion que nos dieron estaba sucia, el piso empegostado, el telefono con el cable roto, la caja fuerte rota,la nevera no enfriaba, no habia plancha, pusimos como tres veces la queja y finalmente por la insistencia nos cambiaron de habitacion. Ya en la otra corria agua por las paredes del closet al parecer era el aire acondicionado pero nadie fue a ver, yo determine poner las toallas en esa area para q recogiera el agua pq se acumulaba mucha cantidad.La limpieza estaba mucho mejor pq desde que me pasaron fui y hable con la muchacha de la limpieza, es muy desagradable pagar tanto para estar en un lugar sucio por una semana. el staff es muy bueno, se desviven por complacerte pero la administracion es pesima, en nuestro caso un amigo fue a visitar y la señora del guest service (Kristal) dice que tenia que pedir un permiso, (ella molesta) y pagar 30 dolares para viistar luego de mandar cierta cantidad de informacion a un email y resulto que respondieron el email cuando les dio la gana y ya al dia siguiente no eran 30 sino 60 dolares la visita. Los muchachos de la animacion se esfuerzan al maximo porque te sientas bien, tanto asi como los meseros y bartenders pero creo q necesita mucha reparacion porque uno paga para sentirse a gusto y este no es el caso.EL Royal tiene muchas mejores condiciones, que realmente fue donde hice mi reserva lo que expidia que (no la recomiendo para nada) me cambio todo porque ambos hoteles se comunican.No recomendado.

The food was bad, almost the same food everyday. The room have only one electrical plug avaliable to charge phone, the shower space is very very little. In my opinion they were inderstaffed. the Employees service was regular but they were not enough to provide service to the amount of people in the bar and restaurants.

The property is clean and family friendly. The room was comfortable and easily accessible. The property grounds are beautiful and picturesque. The pool area was nice and beach area had enough chairs and areas for families to enjoy.
