"Absolutely loved this hotel!"
Fabulous experience, we were given a room with an amazing view of Bellagio & the strip (which we didn't request they were just being helpful!), the rooms were clean with great facilities (good shampoo, etc.). Large rooms and comfortable beds, cleaned well daily. On one day our body lotion wasn't refilled (not a big issue we just called and they brought up a few) but then they sent me a large box of chocolates with a note to apologize for the inconvenience. I wouldn't even call that an inconvenience! This place is truly amazing, great location, great staff, awesome rooms, fabulous views. I am coming back for sure!

"Nice hotel; but surprising add-on expenses"
Very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. However, I was surprised that WiFi is not included in room rate and that the food was so expensive. The computers were down when we tried to check in, so the lines were excruciatingly long, but they did the best they could.

"beautidul hotel and super friendly staff"
This hotel was beautiful and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The rooms/suites have everything you need except a small fridge that you can use. Don't remove items from the fridge that you aren't prepared to pay for to make room for your stuff. Of course the drinks at the pool are really expensive but you are staying in a plush hotel with great amenities so keep that in mind.

Complete Oasis in the middle of Law Vegas! The Madarin Oriental is just a perfect way to relax with superb service, great pool and excellent food. If you want to enjoy LV but without the typical experience (which is only a 2 minute walk away if you want it), then choose this hotel. SUPERB!

"Fantastic hotel and staff!"
Everything was perfect and the spa staff were over the top professional and welcoming. Only issue was the management removed the drinks / juices from the spa. Felt a bit cheated as one would expect juices/tea in a spa so not sure what bean counter made that decision but it's a fatal one given the competition for spas in Vegas.

"Nice Hotel/Nice Price/Nice Location"
Very nice/clean hotel. Hubby and I were comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful. The lobby is clean and inviting. A good area, especially if one doesn't mind the "low-Keyness" of the "original" strip. Public transportation was in walking distance to ride to the "new" strip. We're not smokers and live in a "smoke-free" state where it is not allowed in public, therefore the scent of smoking in the hallway was very unfavorable. There is relief once you arrive to your room. Additionally, we would have appreciated a microwave and fridge to be complimentary. Lastly, the kiosk computers in the lobby used to print boarding passes needs updating. It was extremely slow. Otherwise, great hotel/great price!

"Beautiful hotel with great service"
My stay was well worth the nightly rate. Went during the week to get a discount from the overpriced weekends. Paid abt 240 per night including the 32$ resort fee. Suite was larger than my first apt. The employees make the place great!

    Pocket Guide: Las Vegas

    Entertainment capital of the world

From space, Las Vegas is the brightest city on the face of the Earth, and it's easy to see why. The lights and spectacle of the main strip are recognizable across the globe and have become synonymous with spectacular entertainment and glamorous nightlife. Whether you're taking in the sight of the fountains at the Bellagio or marvelling at the gravity-defying feats on display in Cirque du Soleil's KA show at the MGM grand, Las Vegas promises a great time for all.

Hailed as the quintessential Las Vegas show, Folies Bergere at the Tropicana captures the essence of sexy, classic Las Vegas with its scantily-clad showgirls and spectacular dance routines. Also unmissable is Cirque du Soleil's Mystère, an extraordinary show which explores the origins of life through an unforgettable mixture of dance, acrobatics, music, opera, and comedy, and plays to sell-out audiences at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.

    Win big in Sin City

No trip to Las Vegas would be complete without a visit to one of the many iconic casinos which have served as the backdrop to many a Hollywood film, including 'Ocean's Eleven' and 'Diamonds are Forever.' Visitors can play a game of roulette under the magnificent frescos of the Venetian, and then enjoy a drink at Coyote Ugly in New York-New York. However, the casinos aren't just about the gambling. The striking architecture and unique design of the buildings mean that you can enjoy a day of sightseeing without setting foot inside.

Gambling is the key to the Sin City's economy and attracts people from all over the world, all of whom are seeking their fortune. The central strip never sleeps, with most of the casinos open 24 hours a day, and most venues offer live entertainment and free drinks to those brave enough to play throughout the night. Different casinos offer different stakes, so it's advisable to start small before heading to the high-stakes tables of the Bellagio and the Riviera.

    Feats of man and nature

For a fresh-air break from the gambling, true thrill-seekers should be sure to check out the Stratosphere, which includes the tallest thrill ride in the world. The ride ascends past the peak of a skyscraper over 329 meters high, offering magnificent views of the city, before plummeting down to the roof of the casino. It's definitely not one for the faint-hearted.

For those seeking an escape from the non-stop chaos of the casinos and shows at the main strip, the Hoover Dam is located 30 miles south-east of Las Vegas. It towers a staggering 700 feet above the Colorado River and represents one of the finest achievements in modern engineering.

Across the border in Arizona lies the Grand Canyon, which is an impressive 277 miles long and almost a mile deep. This national park is a feat of nature and holds a variety of museums and information centers, as well as caves, forests, and grasslands.
