"We just got back from Riu Cancun. My wife and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary along with our 10 month old baby! Bety at the front desk was very helpful and recommended the best floor and side of the resort to stay in. After approximately 2.5 hrs of wait, we finally got our room on the 7th floor (room 720). We loved the unobstructed view of the blue ocean waters and the pool. Our 10 month old daughter loved the pool. My wife and i enjoyed the balcony views, pool, and the beach. We also like the fact that it's only a 10 minute walk to the nightlife. We had sun during our 4 day with no rain and saw amazing sunrises and sunsets. We definitely recommended this hotel. We look forward to going back."

"It was our first time in Cancun and we loved our stay at the Grand Fiesta Americana. All of the staff were very helpful and courteous. The food was really good! Highly recommend La Joya and the mussels that our waiter said we must try!!!!! The new restaurants downstairs were all really great too. Would love to go back!"

"I totally enjoyed the staff the overall essence of the establishment Jocelyn our waitress was so very magnificent polite efficient & also nice to the upmost respect. Jocelyn was always on top of everything she especially friendly Jocelyn even got to know us because she remembered everyone name within our party of eleven people. I truly believe within my heart & soul by far Jocelyn DESERVES A $25 American dollars & hour added toward her hourly pay amongst other waitress & staff . The food was amazing Jocelyn was always there for us she is the best most phenomenal woman . & Mexican Brian from mts was also excellent he helped us on our excursions & our transportation. I jus wanna say from the time I arrived at occidental tacancun myself & my girlfriend was treated with the upmost respect & honor amongst help & excellent service from beginning to end . Also the entire hotel staff from front to middle to back the cooks janitorial was A-ONE PRIMO the best OCCIDENTAL TACANCUN is one of a kind & very very clean & sanitized food drinks pool staff I appreciate everything I will most definitely be back i thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart to the top of my soul occidental tacancun is highly favored & highly recommend "
