"This hotel is nice if good meals and culture are not important to you. I found it quite unacceptable how hard it was to get a dinner reservation. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, and only 2 of the nights I was able to get dinner reservations, and it was at the same restaurant. This meant that 11 of the 13 meals I ate at this resort were from the buffet, which got old quick. I mentioned being unable to reserve dinner to multiple staff, and they were unsurprised and unable to help. In terms of alcohol, the drinks were very weak and made with expectedly cheap alcohol. Another caution would be for anyone hoping to experience culture. You truly could have told me I was any Caribbean resort and I wouldn’t know better. For me, this was disappointing. I did the hydrotherapy at the spa which was beautiful and very nice! For anyone who is looking to stay at a mediocre beach with great pools and a beautiful spa, and is not worried about quality meals, this is a nice stay. It was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and the resort was huge with much to do. Our housekeeper kept our space clean. Our room was okay, but there is an open concept space with a window between the bathroom and bed space, and the door to cover this was broken, so we had little privacy and had to hang up blankets for coverage. All in all, in terms of all inclusive, this place is fine, but seek out different accommodations if you want good food and culture. "

The steak at the Italian restaurant was like a Salisbury steak with the consistency of heavy jello. We had to upgrade the premier dining options to access halfway edible food. Drinks were fine, and the staff was friendly with good service. At over $600 per night, I expect decent food. "

"We had a great time and would definitely go again. The rooms were large and clean. House keeping came everyday and did a great job, our fridge was well stocked and we would leave and drink requests on a note with a tip for when they restocked daily. All the staff were very nice throughout the resort. The buffet's were good and had a wide variety, and the restaurants were all very good. The beach is Rocky but as long as you bring water shoes you'll be fine, it was worth it for the snorkeling. "

"This resort is very average and not as good as the dreams in Punta Cana. - it’s old and dated - the restaurants aren’t very good and they’re often closed - rooms need an update - the biggest complaint is that there’s two pools and one of them is used all day as a party. Constant music, people drinking in the pool all day (and never getting out to go to the washroom), - there are limited lounge chairs and they’re always “reserved by 7:00 am. - lastly and not someting the resort can manage but there’s a huge sargasm problem rendering tue beach and ocean a smelly mess. "
