Great amenities for the whole family, a lot happening all the time and the use of other resorts is a great bonus. The only downside is rooms could’ve been a little more updated (hotel needs to update the rooms (bathroom shower would leak onto the floor and there were some cracks in the floor). Otherwise very pretty and right by the beach if staying at Tulum.

Bahia principe explore tulum was a great experience for me and my family. Best part of booking through Expedia was that we got an upgrade to pink belt which will allow us to use Akulum and sian-kaan for food, pool and drinks. Overall buffet and other area of Tulum are good but Akulum feels luxury. Staff was already ready to help and kids were having fun at kids club. If you are going to Bahia Principe resorts, book it through expedia for the VIP treatment.

The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for a family of 5. Wish the property had hot tubs, room service and accessibility to all the restaurants. The beach, well... the only beach to go into the water due to the seaweed was 15 minute walk to the other resort. It was ok. The resort itself was beautiful with friendly staff.

The rooms were clean. Some staff was friendly and others were rude. The resort has plenty of room and lots of things to do. A couple of things that need improvement were being able to make reservations at the restaurants. We could not get into one the whole time we were here. We ate at the buffet. And the pools need to be open later than 6 pm. I would definitely return as for the most part it was a great trip
