Tulum Trip

Overall, this property was decent and worked for a short stay, but it may appeal to a very specific type of traveler. The rooms are quite dated and fairly bare in terms of décor and amenities, though the hammock in the room was a fun and unique touch. The overall vibe felt geared primarily toward divers and an older crowd looking for a quiet, low-key experience. The food was okay but not a highlight of the trip. There also weren’t many amenities or entertainment options compared to what you might expect from most all-inclusive resorts. The pool was not heated and stayed mostly empty, and the hot tub was consistently crowded with 8+ adults, making it hard to use. One of the best features was the easy water access for snorkeling — when the water is calm, it’s beautiful and very convenient. For our girls’ trip with two teenagers, we felt about 40 years too young for the overall atmosphere. It’s likely a better fit for travelers seeking a quiet, dive-focused getaway rather than a lively or activity-filled vacation.

Rooms were very clean, staff personable, and overall experience was great. However the food at Jasmine’s was served cold, particularly wasn’t my favorite for it to be advertised as preferred VIP dining, it did not meet the standard as far as food quality.

The staff was very friendly. The only complaints I have was getting the room cleaned and getting them to leave towels in our room. The air wasn’t the greatest and the mini fridge wasn’t very cold. But overall the food was wonderful, the staff was very helpful! Hospitality 10/10
