Paradisus Cancún – All Inclusive

"Paradisus is always a great time! From check in to check out. Alan at the front desk, Francisco at the buffet (we met him two years ago and he remember us), Tania at the main pool were all amazing. The pool activities kept our son entertained. All of the staff were extremely friendly and the food was so good. The renovations gave the property a beautiful Caribbean vibe. The new restaurants were top tier. Our favorite was the steak and Italian restaurant. The Italian restaurant had longer wait times. The steak was cooked perfectly. It didn’t taste like resort food :-) Blue agave, you will not be disappointed in the tacos. Paradisus does not disappoint. I look forward to returning."

"We stayed for two nights before flying home from our Tulum vacation. PROS: 1. Location close to airport, not in the busy part of the Hotel Zone. 2. Grounds and pools were beautiful and well maintained. 3. Staff were welcoming and courteous. 4. We ate dinner at the Sea and Stones restaurant which had a lovely seaside patio and our waiter was wonderful. My partner enjoyed his pasta carbonara but my tandoori grilled fish was very salty. 5. Breakfast buffet was lovely. I added the option when booking the room and it was a fraction of the price compared to paying at the resort. We also appreciated that it was open until 11 am. CONS: 1. Rooms are quite a trek from the lobby and the route was confusing with minimal signage. 2. The light bulbs in our room were that sterile bright-white type which felt cold and uncomfortable. We ended up using the TV screen for ambient room lighting. It’s a small detail, but to us it made a big difference. 3. The on-site ATM only dispensed US dollars. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at the Westin Resort and Spa."

"Service: Our butlers, Pingting and Brandon, were the highlight. They were helpful and attentive, and they handled our scheduling so we never had to think about logistics. Coming back to a bubble bath they had drawn for us, unprompted, is the kind of touch we'll remember. The rest of the staff matched that standard everywhere we went. Food: We loved Cilento, El Suspiro, and Cala di Luna, and each one felt like its own experience. Even the pool food was great, which is rare. We never felt like we had to leave the pool to eat well. Drinks: Excellent everywhere we went. The crème brûlée martini at Bar de la Calle was a standout and worth a visit on its own. Atmosphere and amenities: The resort is beautiful, relaxed, and polished. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully designed, which made it easy to unwind. We left rested and well taken care of, and we're already planning our return. If you go, ask for Pingting and Brandon."
