Overall, we enjoyed our stay at GR Solaris Caribe, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The resort was clean, housekeeping was excellent, and the staff was generally friendly. The location was great, and check-in and check-out were easy. The spa was a highlight, with one of the best massages I’ve ever had! We also loved the themed parties and having access to the sister resort’s pool, buffet, and activities. Special thanks to Carlos for helping with our bags, Leo at the buffet, and the bartender at the Sports Club for their outstanding service. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to be downgraded from our booked king-size oceanfront room to two double beds without compensation. The beds were also uncomfortable. The DJ was unaccommodating toward song requests, drink preparation was inconsistent, and the food at Veneto was underwhelming. The resort app was another major frustration. We made dinner reservations through it, only to arrive and discover they hadn’t gone through. We also would have appreciated more information at check-in about available activities and amenities, as some advertised activities were difficult to access. The main pool was smaller than expected, but access to the sister resort helped make up for it. Overall, we had an enjoyable vacation and appreciate the employees who went above and beyond. With improvements to communication, accommodations, dining, and the app, this resort could offer a much better guest experience.
