Strand Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room was cozy and clean. I enjoyed the cookies, tea and chocolate the hotel provided in the room. The hotel staff was particularly helpful in storing my luggage while I walked around the city both before check in and after I checked out. The location was fantastic!"
"Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Any time I interacted with the staff they were helpful and friendly, they truly care about customer service. Didn't check out other facilities (eg gym) or restaurants but hallways and room was very clean. Staff was responsive to requests. "
"Located in Leicester Square. I felt like as soon as I walked outside the door I was in London. People were watching Wimbledon on a large screen in the park. China town and SOHO were very close and walkable. Staff was wonderful and helpful. The food inside the hotel was great. The hotel has a hot tub, steam room, sauna and pool/spa in the basement. Rooms were very comfortable. I really enjoyed our stay! "
"I love this hotel. It has a perfect location, in Bloomsbury, near the British Museum and a block from the subway/ tube (on the Piccadilly line, which goes to Heathrow airport). The staff is friendly and the rooms are pretty (though, as in many London hotels, there’s no air conditioning). If you don’t feel like paying for breakfast, there’s a Pret on the corner. Plus apparently the Beatles liked to stay here; you can’t get better than that. "
