Also the HVAC in the room was pre set not to go below 24C and the room fan did not operate consistently for the week which I believe was an electrical wiring issue. Comfortable room though people may find it annoying that the bed takes up the whole window area and the person by the window has to climb out over the other person, not a problem when staying alone. Good shower. Unfortunately couldn’t get the chromecast feature to work, neither could a colleague in another room. "Cute little hotel with kind staff. It was being prepared for renovations while we were here which created some commotion with the lifts and traffic in the lobby. The room was comfortable and gym was good. We cut our stay short to stay closer to the sights and the staff was incredibly gracious about the change. Thank you for having us!"

"Lovely room, comfortable bed and not noisy. Lighting wasn’t great for makeup etc but was aesthetically pleasing. We received cookies in the room and sweets when checking in, and there was popcorn which was a nice touch. Pool was fab. Only issue was the bar service, we had to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks and the staff were grumpy and avoided eye contact at all costs. But fortunately a new member of staff was there when we were paying the bill and was very apologetic and gave us a free...

"We loved the location! Very walkable to main London attractions, including shopping, restaurants and pubs as well the Thames. We compared to many properties and Marlin Waterloo was the best value! The kitchenette was very handy and felt that the room was designed well for a family of 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and this would be our first choice for a return trip to London "

"Staff was wonderful. I get nervous taking trains and I had to get to airport. Mehdi went above and beyond to calm my nerves. Eventually we decided that taking a cab would be better for me, so he actually walked with me to get me into a cab which took credit cards (some don’t). Thank you Mehdi!!!!"

"Like many hotels in London, the lack of ac in the hallways is ridiculous and a bit dark colors which many might not like…. Other than that it is a great hotel "

"The location of this hotel cannot be beat for convenience for transportation at Kings Cross. The rooms are very small, and there are no elevators…which could pose a problem for some. However, we had everything we needed in our tiny room."
