"The hotel was very close to Windermere lake and very central to see the whole of the Lake District, which was my plan. The staff, especially the breakfast staff, were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel doesnt have a lift which was a shame and my room was up 2 flights of stairs which was difficult for me as i have bad knees. Parking was good though the spaces in additional parking are a bit tricky to manoeuvre, but possible. The breakfast was superb, i liked that it is brought to your table so there's limited waste too. You only order what you want. My room was very clean. "
"Had a fabulous weekend at the Brown Horse Inn, beds super comfortable, food amazing, staff helpful and friendly, couldn't falt it, will definitely recommend. "
"On arriving
The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming and explained everything to us including the wifi password and breakfast serving times, she also went to check the room was ready for us as we were a little early.
The room was clean and comfortable with a nice ensuite shower room with a small selection of toiletries, also tea coffee and biscuits in the room.
At breakfast the same lady was busy around the dining area taking orders and serving breakfasts which were very nice.
And upon leaving she wished us well on our journey. "
"I visited this property about 5 years ago and since then it has gone through a beautiful renovation....our room had a stunning view of the lake, the room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had cooked breakfast which was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. Would definitely recommend."
