"The reception staff were so friendly and always happy to help. Lovely to have access to a small spa after a day of walking, nice hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room. Good range of drinks at the bar. Free parking is a bonus and location was great only a 10min walk from Grasmere and a bus stop close to the hotel to reach Ambleside, Keswick and Kendall. Only thing that really lets the place down is the stained carpets!"

The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them making the whole stay a real pleasure. We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel as a great place to stay."
