AC Hotel by Marriott New York Downtown
3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1001)
"I stay at a lot of hotels. This was fine. The upside is its walking distance to Wall Street and water. Lots of coffee, food, bars etc. Downside is the rooms were just ok. Weird sliding glass bathroom door with no privacy. Balcony wasn’t accessible but appears to be shared. Non existent lobby. Poorly designed hotel, but functional. I’d explore other options first. It’s fine , but I was looking for a go to hotel and this missed the mark. "

"We chose this hotel for their unique style and the bunk bed. We are 2 women in our sixties and enjoyed our 2 nite stay in this cozy charming room! We asked for a kettle which they brought to us right away. We felt safe knowing you need a key card to use the elevator. Staff were great! Would definitely recommend this clean hotel 👍"

"As a New York hotel we expected a small room, and it was. The bunk beds were wider than usual bunks, and the mattresses and pillows really comfortable. All the staff we encountered were fantastic. So friendly but professional. The shower was magnificent. There were some dust bunnies around the bed frames, but thats nit picking. All the complimentry toiletries were generous in size and excellent quality. We didnt use all the hotel's facilities, but staff couldnt do enough to help when we needed...

"Very pricey for the amenities. Not too happy with daily $30 fee they charge (which they also tax) and then give tou a daily $30 credit which has limited "on premise" usage. We were awaken at 4am by a false fire alarm trip one night. Can't say it was a bad experience overall but I don't think I'll be staying there again."
