"What is this hotel like if you're not part of the target market? Off-season and mid-week the prices are good, so even without kids we decided to stay. Short version: It's pretty odd, but it works well for the price, and the breakfast is very good. First, it's all set up to be very busy, with online check-in and no human interaction. It's strange to be there when it's quiet, but hard for the systems to adapt. For example though mostly empty, trying to arrange for a check-in before 4pm (when the automated system is programmed to first release your keys) was impossible: The number in the booking email was never answered, and the response to an email request was direction to use a different phone number (with different music) that also was never answered. Showing up early caused a bit of confusion - there is no registration desk, it's computer only. But the 'concierge' staff were lovely, and after consultation with an unseen manager, we were told we could check in early, though for a fee nearly equal to one nights' stay. Not a lot of choice at that point so we agreed, and they kindly looked after luggage until the room was ready. And in the end there was no fee charged. The Kingdom room was good (and would have been great if we'd brought two kids, and ok even with three). We didn't get into the pool, hours are very limited. But the breakfast was far above average for a production breakfast buffet, a good variety. Strange to book for an empty bfast room. But recommended!"

"The room was clean, comfortable and painted in the newer design, it was a great base for exploring Legoland Windsor. London, Chessington, and Thorpe park are all within an hour also. We live up north and look for hotels in close proximity to Merlin attractions with our passes. At £47 per night with free parking this hotel didn’t disappoint. There’s only a vending machine here (no bar or cafe), however there is ample tea coffee and towels in reception upon request and can order takeout if need be."

"Checkin was straight forward, we had a nice warm welcome from the staff. The reception area was nice and warm, and very well presented. Our room was a family room with a small balcony overlooking the woods. The room was warm, with some supplementary heating if needed. Nicely decorated, with 2 queen doubles, the bed linen was super soft and cosy. We slept very well. The bathroom was clean and had all the things you would expect to find in a bathroom. The dining area was very impressive, you choose to sit in the bar area, conservatory, or the dining room. Very nicely presented , the waiting on staff were very helpful. The evening menu was good and the food was cooked and presented nicely. There was also a children's menu. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of choice. Would have been a 5 star review except for the coffee stains on the wall in the bedroom,and dirty marks on the curtains. ( Attention to detail) Great stay would recommend for anyone visiting Legoland. "
