"Very basic"

"The staff were rude and self righteous. At peak check in they have only 2 windows open and one of those is only for VIP. I booked a particular room type and requested an attraction view. When checked in the man said he didn’t have any rooms left in the type I booked in advance for 3 days. Then told me my view would be of a grave unless I paid an upgrade fee. Extortion is what it was, he was so rude and talked down to me. I ask for a printed receipt and told me one would be given at checkout. I asked to see what I was being charged for exactly and would not give me a paper receipt. I went back down to the desk the next day to ask again, they told me wait in line for the next available clerk. Once again they had one open functioning check in clerks. And she walked away when it was my turn. I had to wait for next person to come on? When I attempted to take a ride share, I was told by valets that they only allowed a taxi service they contracted with to come to valet service. It would have cost me 3 times what a Lyft or uber costs. I had to ask around to find where to get picked up by a Lyft of uber. I was told to walk out to back alley to a ride share area. There were 3 different areas labeled as ride share pick ups. My self and some other people kept running from one spot to another to try and guess where we would be picked up. Two elderly ladies were there when I got down there and missed their driver twice. Resulting in them be charged cancellation fees. They remained there. "

"The room was clean. The cleaning staff was very good. The staff in the lobby could have more friendlier. "

"This is a property very much in need of an update. Furniture and interior design is very well worn. We were on the 31st floor of the Marquis Tower - shower LITERALLY took 20 minutes to reach “warm”. I would not stay here again. "
