"The hotel was nice. It was clean and the staff were helpful and pleasant. ‭London was very hot and the rooms were a little warm, but that was understandable given that it’s not that warm usually. We had everything we need while we’re there and the breakfast was wonderful."

"This hotel has the perfect location to explore London. The staff is extremely nice and we felt very welcome. Especially the front desk agent that checked us in and also checked us out, went above and beyond. He was very kind, paid attention to our needs, explained everything in detail, was very empathetic. The best employee!! Also the doorman had a big smile for us every time we would walk by. he also recommended a great coffee shop. The room was beautiful and I am very grateful for the hotel recognizing my daughter’s birthday with a delicious cake. They have live music in the bar - exceptional. We had dinner at the Curry room - the hotel Indian restaurant- what a great restaurant atmosphere and food!! Overall - highly highly recommend."

"Room and bed was clean. Pillows were flat and they would not provide extras. Hotel had no windows and areas where the air conditioning didn’t work were hot and suffocating. We moved rooms to an area that was cooler and air conditioning worked better. Great location. Nice lobby. Helpful staff. But if you have any level of claustrophobia this is not the place for you."

"This is a budget priced hotel just steps from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Rd tube station. Check in was 3pm but my daughter and I arrived round 1pm and for £20 were able to avail of early check in and get into our room. Check in was fast and automated with a staff member on hand who printed our key cards for us. Room was on the small side but perfect for what we needed as we were really only in it to sleep in it. Basic but clean, great dressing table/mirror area, TV, hairdryer and safe. The room had good AC which was great as it was very warm during our visit. Bathroom again was small but clean and perfectly adequate for our needs. Our only niggle was how long to get and to use the lifts, they are very busy and often stop at nearly every floor, we were on floor 10 so if you are pressed for time allow an extra 10 mins to get one and get down to reception. Any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. All in all for the price this is a great, centrally located, excellent option for a basic budget stay in London, however if you want extras like toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities then other hotels which will cost more are available and may be more suitable for you. We were very happy with our stay and will use STG again."

"We loved this hotel. We only spent two nights here, but wish we had had more time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the room was excellent. The hotel itself is situated in a very nice area, literally two minutes walking to Buckingham Palace and maybe five minutes to Westminster Cathedral. It's also very close to Victoria Station, which made it easy for us to access the Underground. There is also a nice little covered shopping center close by with some nice restaurants. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel."
