This guest house far outperforms most high-end hotels. Guests are made welcome by friendly and attentive hosts who provide an excellent experience. The quality of breakfast is highly unusual, with the best of ingredients cooked to perfection. The choice is equally impressive. A lovely old pub sits next door, The Swan with Two Nicks and the wonderful Dunham Massey estate is a ten minute stroll away, across open country. Wonderful !

Fantastic location and b&b, we stayed in the lodge and it was beautiful, fantastic couple who run it with good access to local areas to visit such as lindisfarn, bamburgh. We will definitely go back and highly recommend this b&b. The breakfast was excellent

Loved the kindness and professionalism of Karen and Richard. Very helpful and 100% dedicated to high standards in all things. We needed easy walking level access to all amenities including restaurants, coffee shops and places of interest.

Beautifully arranged facilities on the Pullman carriage we were assigned. My husband was delighted with this surprise birthday trip.

Very clean with welcoming staff. Breakfast had an excellent choice and cooked meal was outstanding. We also had an evening. Meal with friends and this was also excellent with a good choice of food. Our room had everything one could need.

This was an outstanding stopover for a couple of nights. A most welcoming hostess, overseeing our visit throughout. The room, although not large, was clean and well maintained, and like the rest of the property spick and span. Breakfast was outrageously generous, both in size and content. The location is very quiet and highly suited to visiting local attractions, being only 5 mins drive from Aldeburgh and 10 mins from Snape, with car parking well provided on site. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

Friendly host, beautiful room with lovely little extras, fantastic breakfast

Very comfortable, all facilities good. Close to city centre. Room small (attic room) but that's what I paid for. Staff courteous and chatty and gave good advice. Not keen on the small TV in room but views more than made up for it. Tea, Coffee, biscuits, fresh milk, mini bar with local produce (mostly ciders), all very good. Breakfast was excellent with a highly varied and quality choice. En-suite clean, everything worked, plenty of goodies

Tucked away in a little hamlet, this delightful guest house is a gem of a find. Everything is well maintained, beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was as good as it gets, all personally served at the table in the large modern kitchen diner. The staff were kind, helpful and with a good degree of local knowledge. There is a hot tub in the garden and just steps away from the local pub which serves good food. We have no hesitation in saying you will be very happy to stay there....

Omg what a lovely place to stay. Clean, well maintained , very comfortable a really home from home. Breakfast was excellent .I would definitely stay again. So friendly nothing was to much trouble. Looking forward to going back when I can . So thank you very much to our hosts . Very impressed. 👍

The staff service was exceptional at this hotel, the friendly and attentiveness of the employees really made this a wonderful break away. The room was ideal in a pet friendly room it was not luxurious but adequate and suited our visit. The food was wonderful and we felt treated from arriving to departure. I would recommend this hotel it can not be faltering delivery.

Lovely hotel step away from Plymouth Hoe. Arty decor super clean and comfy. Delicious breakfast. Family run, friendly and welcoming service. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Farmhouse B&B with excellent restaurant on-site

Beautiful place, the rooms are really cosy and really well done out. A welcome text is provided the morning of arrival to tell you how to get your key etc and where your room is. Host also on hand if you need anything Best night sleep I've had in a long time, honestly wish I could stay longer. king size bed, big fluffy duvet and pillows.
