"Great big room, clean and quiet but the decor is a bit dated and bashed about a bit. Think for the price they need to spruce the rooms up a bit. However, the big plus is you can walk to the airport instead of the £4 transfer bus some of the other hotels have at Stanstead."

"Tired and run down. Changed rooms and the second one ws also awful. Bed uncomfortable and bathroom dirty. Stains on carpet and evetything is dated. Food is average at best. Staff are friendly. Ive stayed here everal times for work and aadly i wont be booking again."

"The pictures are very very misleading. The place is dirty outside. Litter and cigarette ends all outside the entrance. Did not feel safe walking back to the hotel at night as it is located in very rough area. Bathroom very tired and very small. Toilet seat was loose and yellow ! . The sealant is grim. Shower hanging off the wall. The guy who checked me in was very polite. I guess you get what you pay for but I wish I’d paid extra and gone elsewhere. "

"A very nice clean hotel , with very polite, professional and hardworking staff that work as a team. Great choice for the buffet breakfast to which is very good,also there as some lovely reasonably priced dishes you choose via Marriott website. Parking very convenient as you are in town centre location. Public transport shops,bars and restaurants can be accessed within 5 mins walk. Good pub with very good menu across the road, and the hotel gym with all the essential equipment for a decent workout. When I researched the area, I couldn't find better hotel for the price with these facilities , parking, town centre, gym, bars and restaurants shopping centre, public transport, hotel bar and restaurant. If anyone has found a better place, please let me know."
